SKIP HIRE AND ADVICE FROM JORDAN’S RECYCLING
We offer 3 different size skips for customers at 4-yard, 5-yard & 8-yard skips. we have limited availability for our 8-yard skips as they are in high demand all year round. Our 4-yard skips are equivalent to 40 bin bags of rubbish. Our 5-yard skips are equivalent to 50 bin bags of rubbish. Our 8-yard skips are equivalent to 80 bin bags of rubbish.What is skip hire? Skip hire is the hiring of a large metal open top bin to place waste in. Hiring of our skips are for 2 weeks at a time with special circumstances allowing customers to keep the skip for longer if necessary. All skips are to be placed on private property no public roads or land as permits would need to be required.
Do's and don'ts: All skips placed by our drivers are put in locations that is accessible for the drivers if the skips are moved by customers, we cannot guarantee our drivers will be able to lift the skip from the new location. All skips that have been asked to be placed over hedges/ fences etc. are to be held at the customers responsibility as we cannot ensure that no damage will occur. All skips must be level loaded with nothing hanging out of the skips as our drivers are responsible for "sheeting down" and making sure the loads are safe to transport. If the skips are damaged in any way (fires, moved by machines/ JCB/ mini diggers/ fork trucks) customers will be held responsible and billed for the repairs or purchase of a new skip. The skips must not contain any of the following: No Hazards waste (asbestos, chemical waste), car tyres, gas bottles, no dog poo bags/ nappies, fridges/ freezers, (one mattress per skip) and (all paint must be double bagged and placed on top where visible). Drivers reserve the right to refuse collection of any skips that doesn't follow our guidance.
